TradeCard holds some of the most sensitive information a worker owns - NI numbers, bank details, right-to-work documents. We take that seriously.
What protects your data
You control who sees what
Sensitive information - NI number, bank details, right-to-work documents, payroll data - is never visible publicly. It is only shared when you explicitly approve a request from a specific employer or contractor.
Row-level security on every table
Every database table that holds personal data is protected by row-level security policies. Your records are only accessible to you and, where you have approved it, to verified server-side operations.
No third-party data sharing
TradeCard does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Data is only processed to provide the service you signed up for.
ICO registered
TradeCard Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Registration reference: ZC161916. Registered 1 June 2026.
Secure document storage
Documents you upload (CSCS cards, right-to-work, qualifications) are stored in access-controlled cloud storage. Signed URLs expire automatically - a link shared in the past cannot be used indefinitely.
Re-authentication for sensitive views
When you view your own NI number, bank details, or payroll information, we ask you to confirm it is you with a one-time code. This protects you if someone else has access to your logged-in device.
