What We Do Not Provide

We do not:

  • Advise you on tax obligations (income tax, National Insurance, VAT) or tax strategies
  • Act as your representative or intermediary with your employer or government agencies

Your Responsibilities

Limitations of Our Service

  • Extraction errors: our document extraction is powered by an LLM and may misread figures, dates, or text
  • Incomplete information: a single payslip does not show the full employment arrangement; we cannot consider your entire employment history, bonuses, or off-payslip payments
  • Jurisdiction: we are designed for UK employment and tax contexts; if you work in another jurisdiction, our analysis may not apply
  • Individual circumstances: employment law and tax have many exceptions and nuances; every situation is different
  • Rule changes: tax and employment law change; our rules are current as of 25 October 2026 but may become outdated

What We Show

We show:

  • Historical figures from your payslips (gross pay, deductions, dates)
  • Rule-based checks for common pay issues (e.g., minimum wage, statutory deduction limits)
  • Market-rate information for your trade and region (for informational interest only)

What We Do Not Show

We do not:

  • Advise you on how to reduce tax or structure your income
  • Advise you on pension contributions, ISAs, or investment decisions
  • Advise you on whether you should claim certain expenses
  • Advise you on your overall financial plan or budgeting

Your Responsibilities

It is your responsibility to:

  1. Consult a qualified advisor (accountant, tax advisor, financial planner) before making financial or tax decisions
